Dear Jerry Jones:

It was a win and in game and we didn’t win. Today’s game was beyond disappointing and I do hope that you are as saddened as I am by our performance. We have not done well in December since 1996 and to be America’s Team, I truly think that is unacceptable. Our coaching staff and players need their hearts checked because none of them had a heart today and how many more trips down the yellow brick road do we need to take before we admit that we have quite a few cowardly lions on the squad.

There is enough blame to go around and yes there is even some blame for you to shoulder as well. You have not always made the best decisions and prayerfully you will have a gut check moment and realize that it is time to thin out the pride in more ways than one. Our defense has allowed us to stay in the season to the point of the last game thus a lot of problems reside in our lack of offense. Our offensive schemes are known by everyone and until we ran that trick play today, we have been way too predictable. Jason Garrett may have been a great QB coach but let’s be honest, he stinks as an Offensive Coordinator. You pumped up his head and ego with the addition of Assistant Coach to his title but he is in way over his head. Some might say Wade Phillips is the problem but I think you hampered him with the elevation of Jason and that is a blame for you to shoulder. Wade is laid back and in the midst of all of the drama queens on the team, laid back is a good thing.

There are other problems as well, we need to do a better job on special teams, our punting squad needs McBriar back, and we need to stop thinking that Dallas is some sort of rehab center for spoiled, bratty, whiny, crybaby boys and realize that football is a man’s sport. I am pretty tired of us constantly being in state of rebuilding and would like to see our season extend beyond the last regular game of the season.

Bring back the glory and respect that we so rightly deserve. I am sure you are tired of losing as well so first thing you must do is not let the press keep you beholden to those words you uttered the other day. Everyone’s job should be on the chopping block right now and everyone should be worried about whether or not they will be in a blue and silver uniform next year. A few other things that you might consider are:

1) firing Jason Garrett;
2) trading Tony Romo;
3) trading up in the draft to pick up a good QB, please do not hire any more oldtimers like in the past;
4) promising not to hire anymore drama queens.

In honor of trying out the new poll feature….

Recently one of the littlest cousins came over and the Princess and the Prince absolutely adore her so he took the camera and started taking pics.

His aunt was able to get the camera from his little fingers and she snapped this picture of our Santa photographer, isn’t he cute!

In case you only know Caroline as the daughter of a famous former President, did you also know that she has a law degree? She is licensed to the bar in DC and in New York? That alone makes her a more qualified candidate than a certain comedian who has caused a vote-by-vote recount in Minnesota.

Is it her famous last name that causes the criticism? If so, I could understand if her life had been lived off of her last name like a Hilton heir but she truly has forged her own path. Surely, I hope it is not her gender but I don’t think some would have questioned her qualifications if she were a man as there have been several sons that have made advancements based on their fathers (Adams, Bush, Cuomo, Daley to name a few).

The last time I checked this was still the land of opportunity, so I think she should be able to throw her hat in the ring just like anyone and everyone else that meet the minimum requirements.

We picked Wintergreen because it is an easy drive for most of the family. We did chartered buses to Boston, Chicago and Charleston but the last few years we have gone back to our cars. My hubby had been to Wintergreen for a golf vacation with the guys but I have never been there so we took a road trip with the kids back in November during the holiday weekend. We arrived in time to see the leaves as they were changing colors and what a sight it was, so here are some pics.

He is back home now and due to the location of the stone, they were unable to shrink it in Arizona from the inside but they put in a stent which allowed him to travel home. We did go to the urologist today and surgery will be scheduled for this Thursday. I wanted to fly out there but hubby said he was fine and the doctor said he was stable, so I did the next best thing, I emailed my bloggy friend Karen and she was such a doll. While we have never met, I knew that she would pray for him and I asked if either her hubby or Pastor could go by to pray with him being that he was so far from home. She called and we talked on the phone and it did my heart good. She felt bad that they may not be able to make it to the hospital but I told her it was okay, just knowing that she was praying was a blessing.

Hubby is glad to know the cause of his pain and I am glad that he is home and that he will soon be free of his pain. We aren’t fully ready for Christmas as I just purchased my shopping cart on Amazon but we want them to fully appreciate Christmas for Christ’s birth and not for seeing how much they can get being that they are not deprived in their lives.

I have had thoughts to share on the auto bailout (I think Sen. Shelby rocks!!!), the ever increasing debt our country and the world is in, and the Hair Cuttery commercial that truly disturbs me so we will see if I can get back to blogging for the New Year!
