Hee hee, say that title fast a few times. :)

I was in a handmade swap on Swap-Bot and decided to make a purse for my partner. This was my first magnetic snap thanks to Crafty Apple’s tutorial. I didn’t use a pattern and originally had plans to use wooden dowels that I had stained as handles but that wasn’t coming together completely in my head and with a deadline approaching, we had to pull a Tim Gunn and make it work. ;-)

It was also the first time I did a flap closure but all in all I have been wanting to up the sewing skills and regain some skills I used to have so I was glad that I stepped outside of my comfort zone. I sure hope she likes it.
